Terms of Service

By accessing or using Trussfolio ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including property owners searching for contractors, contractors registering or claiming profiles, and visitors browsing contractor listings.

Trussfolio is an online contractor discovery platform that connects property owners with licensed Philippine construction contractors. The Platform allows:

• Property owners to search, browse, and send inquiries to licensed contractors.
• Contractors to claim their existing PCAB listing or register a new profile, complete their profile with portfolio work and pricing packages, and receive project inquiries.

Trussfolio is a discovery and communication platform only. We are not a party to any contract between a property owner and a contractor, and we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any construction project.

3.1 Registration

Contractor accounts are created through Google OAuth (Sign in with Google). By signing in, you authorize Trussfolio to access your basic Google profile information (name and email address) for account creation and authentication purposes.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide during registration and profile setup is accurate, complete, and current. Providing false information (including misrepresenting your PCAB license status) is grounds for account suspension or termination.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately at hello@trussfolio.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.4 One Account Per Contractor

Each contractor company may maintain only one active profile on Trussfolio. Creating duplicate profiles is prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being removed.

4.1 Source of Data

Contractor listings on Trussfolio are initially populated using publicly available data from the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB). This data includes company names, license categories, and related business information.

4.2 Accuracy of PCAB Data

While we strive to keep PCAB data current, Trussfolio cannot guarantee the real-time accuracy of license status, classification, or other information sourced from PCAB. License validity should be independently verified for critical decisions. We update our PCAB data periodically through automated sync processes.

4.3 Claiming a Listing

If your company appears in our PCAB database, you may claim your listing by verifying your identity as an authorized representative of that company. By claiming a listing, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to manage that company's profile on the Platform.

4.4 Data Attribution

Trussfolio acknowledges the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board as the source of contractor license data. See our PCAB Data Attribution page for full details.

5.1 Profile Accuracy

Contractors are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their profile, including company description, contact information, service areas, portfolio projects, pricing packages, and license details.

5.2 License Compliance

Contractors must maintain valid and current PCAB accreditation for the services they offer on the Platform. You agree not to represent capabilities or license classifications you do not hold.

5.3 Inquiry Response

Contractors are expected to respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Consistently ignoring inquiries may affect your listing's visibility on the Platform.

5.4 Portfolio Content

Portfolio images, descriptions, and client reviews you upload must represent actual work completed by your company. Fabricating reviews or misrepresenting project outcomes is prohibited and may result in account removal.

6.1 Good Faith Inquiries

Property owners must send inquiries in good faith. Submitting spam, test messages, or inquiries with no genuine intent to engage a contractor is prohibited.

6.2 Independent Verification

Property owners are encouraged to independently verify a contractor's credentials, insurance, and license status before entering into any agreement. Trussfolio provides information for discovery purposes and does not endorse any specific contractor.

6.3 Direct Agreements

Any contract, agreement, or arrangement entered into between a property owner and a contractor is solely between those two parties. Trussfolio is not a party to and bears no responsibility for the outcome of such arrangements.

7.1 Plan Tiers

Trussfolio offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers for contractors. Paid plans provide additional features including increased search visibility, public contact information, and priority notifications. Current pricing is available on the Pricing page.

7.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through SymphPay, our payment processing partner. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to SymphPay's terms and authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

7.3 Billing

Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each billing period until you cancel. Prices are in Philippine Peso (PHP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

7.4 Cancellation and Downgrade

You may cancel or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

7.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increases before they take effect.

The inquiry system allows property owners to contact contractors directly through the Platform. Inquiries are delivered to contractors via their registered email and dashboard. Trussfolio does not guarantee that all inquiries will be responded to.

Contractors on paid plans receive priority notifications for new inquiries. Trussfolio may, at its discretion, attempt to connect property owners with alternative verified contractors if their original inquiry does not receive a response within a reasonable timeframe.

All content submitted to the Platform (including profile information, portfolio images, project descriptions, and reviews) must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or harmful material
• Not include personal contact information of individuals without their consent
• Comply with all applicable Philippine laws and regulations

Trussfolio reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.

You agree not to:

• Create false or misleading contractor profiles or reviews
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or Platform systems
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Platform without authorization
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Impersonate another contractor, business, or individual
• Post spam, phishing links, or malicious content
• Circumvent subscription fees by creating multiple free accounts

11.1 Platform Content

The Trussfolio name, logo, website design, and all original content created by Trussfolio are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

11.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform (e.g., portfolio images, descriptions). By submitting content, you grant Trussfolio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Platform, including promotional use.

11.3 PCAB Data

License and accreditation data sourced from PCAB remains the property of the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board. Trussfolio's use of this data is for informational purposes only.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Trussfolio makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currency of contractor information
• The quality, safety, or legality of any contractor's work
• The outcome of any project resulting from a Platform inquiry
• Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform

Trussfolio does not endorse any contractor listed on the Platform. Inclusion in our database does not constitute a recommendation or certification.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trussfolio and its operators, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform
• Any contractor-property owner agreement or dispute
• Inaccurate or outdated PCAB information
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Trussfolio in the three months preceding the claim.

Trussfolio reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to providing false information, prohibited conduct, or non-payment of subscription fees.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@trussfolio.com. Upon account closure, your profile and associated content will be removed from public view. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered contractors via email and post an updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
